UCX10D1 Insert Ball Bearing
UCX10D1 is a spherical bearing, which consists of an inner ring, an outer ring, steel balls and a cage. The spherical center bearing can automatically adjust the axial and radial deviation to adapt to irregular movement and working conditions.
G207-KTT-AH16 Bearing
The G207-KTT-AH16 radial insert ball bearing is mainly used to bear the combined radial and axial loads, which are mainly radial loads. It is generally not suitable to bear the axial load alone. Components of Insert Bearing
Inner Ring
The Inner Ring is the smaller of the two bearing rings. Inner ring has a groove on its outer diameter to form a pathway for the balls. The surface of outside diameter path is finished to extremely tight tolerances and is honed to a very smooth. The inner ring is mounted on the shaft and it is the rotating element.
Outer Ring
The Outer Ring is the larger of the two bearing rings. On outer ring there is a groove on its inside diameter to form a pathway for the balls. Outer ring surface also has the same high precision
finish of the inner ring. The outer ring is usually held stationery.
Balls
Balls of a bearing are the rolling elements that separate the inner ring and outer ring and permit the bearing to rotate with minimal friction. The radius of the ball is made slightly smaller than the grooved ball track on the inner and outer rings. This makes the balls to contact the rings at a single point. Ball dimensions are controlled to very high accuracy. Ball roundness, surface finish and size variations are important attributes. These attributes are controlled to a micro inch level.
Cage (Retainer)
The purpose of the cage in ball bearing is to separate the balls, maintaining constant spacing between the inner and outer rings, to accurately guide the balls in the path during rotation and to prevent the balls of bearing from falling out.
Lubrication
The lubricant is an integral part of a bearing's standard components. Lubrication is added to reduce friction losses in bearing between inner and outer rings.

Most ball bearings are made of a type of steel known as high carbon chromium steel, often called chrome steel. This is used for reasons of cost and durability. Bearings are also made from other materials such as stainless steel, ceramics and plastic.
Chrome steel will corrode if exposed to moisture so, where corrosion resistance is needed, bearings made from 440 grade stainless steel are often used. This is a very hard, magnetic steel with good corrosion resistance but not suitable for use with salt water and many chemicals. 316 grade stainless steel is used for more corrosive applications but it is much softer so can only be used where loads and speeds are low.
Ceramics (zirconia and silicon nitride) are good for very corrosive or extreme temperature use while various types of plastic are suitable for good to very good corrosion resistance although only suitable for low load and low speed. 316 stainless steel bearings, ceramic bearings and plastic bearings are non-magnetic.
》With open bearings, the protective oil provides protection against corrosion for roughly 5 years, as long as storage conditions are appropriate.
》Under optimal conditions (60% relative humidity and 20°C maximum temperature), bearings can be stored for up to 10 years.
》The maximum storage period for double shielded bearings (metallic) is 2 years.
》For double sealed bearings, the maximum storage period is 3 years.
