- Correspond in design to two single direction bearings arranged back-to-back
- Have a one-piece outer ring and a two-piece inner ring
- Are non-separable
- Have a 60° contact angle
- Accommodate radial loads, and axial loads in both directions
- Have an annular groove and lubrication holes in the outer ring as standard to relubricate the bearing easily and reliably when necessary
- Preload (which is preset at the factory) is applied by clamping the inner ring halves on the screw drive shaft with, for example, a precision lock nut.
