TLK603 55X100 Medium-High Torque Shrink Disc

The KTR 603 external clamping set (shrink disk) is a shaft-hollow shaft-connection.
This external clamping set allows for a backlash-free and frictionally engaged connection between cylindrical shafts without keyway and hollow shafts.
The wedge-shaped components of the clamping sets that are shifted on top of each other via clamping screws generate radial forces which provide for friction fit between shaft and hollow shaft.
This friction fit allows for simultaneous transmission of torque and axial force.

Shrink discs are inserted above the hollow shaft of the drive, producing a completely backlash-free friction-type connection between the shaft and the hub. The assembly is very easy and is implemented with high strength screws and defined torque.
