The arc tooth timing belt is a synchronous belt with arc-shaped equidistant transverse teeth in a longitudinal section. Its structure is the same as that of the trapezoidal timing belt. The belt pitch is equivalent, but the tooth height, thickness, and root fillet radius are smaller. Trapezoidal teeth are large. After the tooth is loaded, the stress distribution state is good, which improves the load-bearing capacity of the tooth. Therefore, the arc-toothed timing belt transmits more power than the trapezoidal-toothed timing belt, which can prevent tooth interference during the meshing process.
